Honors Program Eligibility & Application

Thank you for your interest in joining the MSUM Honors Program. In order to do so, you must complete an essay question and one of the following requirements must be met:

  • ACT composite of at least 25;
    OR
  • High school GPA greater than 3.6

If you meet these automatic requirements for the Honors Program, there is no need to apply. You will receive a letter of invitation upon admission to MSUM. To remain part of the program, you must maintain a GPA greater than 3.3.

If you’ve been invited to join the Honors Program, you can accept your invitation by logging into the Admissions portal with your StarID username and password.

Transfer students, international students and any student who feels they would be successful in the Honors Program can apply for individual review.
