SLHS Scholarships

MSUM Speech, Language, Hearing Sciences undergraduate and graduate students have eligibility for scholarships. Students are encouraged to explore the options and apply by the deadlines. The scholarships are generally awarded for the following academic year. Students can apply for university scholarships through the online scholarship application October 1-February 1.

Each spring the SLHS scholarship committee informs students of the application process and deadline for scholarships awarded within the department. The number of scholarship awards varies based on availability of funds.

Eligibility

  1. Recipients must be enrolled at MSUM during the disbursement of the awards.
  2. Applicants should demonstrate strong academic performance.

This scholarship is awarded to full-time students who are juniors or higher, majoring in Speech-Language-Hearing, and demonstrate financial need. 

Financial need is determined through the FAFSA. If you have not completed a FAFSA already, you can do so at studentaid.gov.

No additional requirements are needed. 

This scholarship is awarded to full-time students who are undergraduates in Speech-Languge-Hearing or graduate students in Speech-Language Pathology.

This scholarship is awarded to graduate students who are majoring in SLHS.

This scholarship is awarded to full-time students who are undergraduates or graduates in SLHS.

This scholarship is awarded to students majoring in SLHS majors.

No additional requirements are needed.

This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate students majoring in Speech Language Hearing Sciences, with a minimum GPA of 3.25, and have earned a minimum of 30 credits.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are currently at juniors and will be seniors in the Fall term. Students must be a member of the NSSLHA/Collegiate SERTOMA.
