Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Courses & Curriculum

The BA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) is intended to prepare you to teach English outside of the United States. It can also lead to teaching ESL in adult education programs in the U.S. and serve as initial training to work at community colleges and universities. It will not be sufficient for teaching in many institutions of higher education, which require the MA in TESL. It is also not appropriate for teaching in K-12 schools in the U.S., which requires the BS in TESL.
