Welcome! Accessibility Resources is eager to support your journey at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Accessibility Resources leads collaborations with students, faculty, staff, and the administrators to cultivate an inclusive environment, and facilitates the removal of existing barriers for the full inclusion of people with disabilities. As identified under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, we offer services, accommodations, and provide options for equal access and opportunity to ensure your successful transition to and experience at MSUM.
Accessibility Resources (AR) provides an approved accommodation to access notes through a note taker, etc.
Sign language interpreters may be provided to you if a demonstrated need for this accommodation will provide access for your course/event.
Alternate text format (ATF) refers to the variety of ways print materials can be accessed using different formats based on the individual need.
Accessibility Resources (AR) provides coaching opportunities for students with approved accommodations and focuses on learning, building skills, and habits to break down barriers to success.
An Emotional Support Animal (ESA) is a category of animals that may work, provide assistance, provide emotional support, or perform physical tasks for an individual with a disability. The approval is determined on a case-by-case basis with Accessibility Resources.
Housing accommodation can be related to a single room on campus, accessible washroom or a residence hall with an elevator. Reasonable accommodations will be considered and approval is determined on a case-by-case basis with Accessibility Resources.
