Mathematics: Actuarial Science
If you’re looking for a major that encompasses a wide subject matter and has promising job prospects, consider MSU Moorhead's Mathematics: Actuarial Science degree. You’ll implement mathematics, statistics, finance and business practices in order to assess and minimize risk for businesses and clients. The advanced program will prepare you for five professional examinations that, upon successful completion, lead to satisfactory careers in the insurance and finance industries.
MSUM is the only school within the Tri-College, and one of only six universities in Minnesota, to offer an actuarial program. MSUM's advanced program is one of three in the state.
