Many students realize that their high school study habits aren’t very effective in college. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with you; it just means you need to learn some more effective study skills. Fortunately, there are many active, effective study strategies that are shown to be effective in college classes.

These MSUM alumni and faculty, although from varied backgrounds with different degrees and career fields, all conduct research across the world. Their association with MSUM has shaped their careers. They are researchers, exercising influence and making a big difference – successful alumni and faculty who are transforming our mental and physical wellness, changing our lives for the better and providing hope a reality.

A broad range of courses are available to fulfill the Liberal Arts and Sciences Curriculum (LASC) and Minnesota Transfer Curriculum. Academic advisors should be consulted early and often to ensure effective planning.

The competency framework for the Minnesota State Moorhead MHA program has been adapted from the Healthcare Leadership Alliance common competency domains.

The collection is primarily concerned with selected activities of the Northern Pacific Railroad from 1870 to 1913. The collection includes the following materials: abstracts, addresses, agreements, briefs, bylaws, charters, collateral trust, contracts, court cases, editorials, guides, hearings, indentures, laws, leaflets, leases, letters, mortgages, official statements, opinions, pamphlets, prospectus, reports, resolutions, statements, stockholder’s reports, speeches and the Howard Elliot Farewell Dinner agendas.

This collection contains old photographs, newspaper articles, newspapers, books, pamphlets and broadsides pertaining to the history of Minnesota, the Red River Valley and individual communities in northwest Minnesota.
