The Curriculum Materials Center (CMC) is a special unit within the MSU Moorhead Library providing materials and assistance to students and faculty of the Teacher Education programs. All students, faculty, and staff as well as the general public may use the resources of the CMC.
The Red River Reading Council (RRRC) was established in October 1958, by professor Allen Erickson of Moorhead State University. A year later it affiliated with the Minnesota Reading Association. Membership is open to anyone interested in the promotion of reading and research in reading.
Two reels of microfilm are the executive proceedings and official correspondence from July 1877-Decemeber 1888 of the Interior Department regarding the Dakota Territory. One reel contains letters relating to the U.S. Penitentiary in Dakota. The fourth reel contains miscellaneous materials regarding Dakota Territory.
The objectives of the Fargo-Moorhead Horticultural Society are to unite area horticulturists for furthering their knowledge, encourage horticulture interest within the community, and to increase awareness and enjoyment of horticulture. Membership is open to all, meetings are held monthly, and officers are elected yearly.

A travel study course is defined as a faculty-led, credit-bearing experience, of generally less than . six weeks, in which the majority of the instruction is provided at an off-campus location. Travel study courses may be conducted within the United States or abroad.
