Minnesota State University Moorhead has a committee and task force structure that is designed to advise the administration on various University activities that are critical to the mission, via a process that honors the principles of shared governance. Committees and task forces are composed of appointed faculty, staff and students who provide their time and expertise in service of the MSUM mission.

The goals of the minor in Mass Communications are to introduce students to the profession of mass communications and develop one's skills in verbal and visual storytelling. Students can concentrate electives in a particular area of interest or may choose to take a broad range of electives from the communication majors in integrated advertising and public relations, broadcast journalism, multimedia journalism, and photojournalism.
Professor Park teaches Foundation Drawing I and II, Foundation Design, Introduction to Illustration, and upper level Drawing / Illustration courses. He is an award-winning artist who has worked as an Interior Designer, Architectural Illustrator, Freelance Illustrator, and has illustrated four Interior Design textbooks. Professor Park earned his BFA from Brigham Young University, Provo UT, and his MFA from Northern Illinois (DeKalb) University.
