Graduate Admissions Testing
Graduate school applicants may be required to submit valid test scores to be considered for admission, depending on the program. International graduate student applicants are required to submit TOEFL/IELTS test scores.
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is Optional
Minnesota State University Moorhead does not require GMAT scores for admission. It is optional to include your score in your application.
Test takers should be aware of the country specific scheduling requirements for the GMAT exam. Students may register for the GMAT exam online, by phone, by mail, or by fax. Information on registering for the test and the location of testing centers can be viewed online at mba.com. Available time slots change continuously based on capacity and ongoing registration.

Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is Optional
The following graduate programs at Minnesota State University Moorhead have optional scores on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) for admission:
- Master of Science in School Psychology: Verbal and quantitative portions combined score of 300 is recommended; only official scores are accepted; no more than five years old.

The computerized GRE General Test is available at the following testing site. The fee for the test is $195.00 More information on how to pay and scheduling can be found online at gre.org. For students whose native language is not English, or who were not taught in English, an official score from either TOEFL (6678 MSUM code) or IELTS (Minnesota State University Moorhead) is required.
