Tuition Waiver

Minnesota State System offers a tuition waiver benefit to most employees based on criteria provided in the various union contracts or salary plans. It provides the cost of tuition and, in some cases, certain fees.

Each union contract specifies employee and dependent eligibility, the number of allowed credits, fees included in the waiver, the academic year in which the waiver can be used, and where credits can be earned (technical, community or co-located colleges, and/or state universities).
