Core Tools

MSUM offers a number of technology tools that you can use while a student or employee. Our Core Tools provide the primary functionality needed for quality learning, working and instruction environments across all modalities.

• D2L Brightspace
  D2L Brightspace is learning management system (LMS) used to support and enhance the delivery of courses at MSU Moorhead.
• Kaltura MediaSpace
  A cloud-based web services where one may upload or create and distribute various audio and video media formats.
• Microsoft 365
  Microsoft 365 provides you online access to Microsoft 365 and your own ‘cloud’ storage called OneDrive and many other Microsoft applications. The campus license for Microsoft 365 is available to all current MSUM students, faculty, and staff.
• Web Conferencing
  Web conferencing software may be used for various types of online collaborative services including classes, web seminars, webinars, webcasts, video conferencing and peer-level meetings.
