We are always excited to celebrate the newest graduates of Minnesota State Moorhead. Moorhead holds commencement ceremonies twice per year, one after both fall and spring semester. We hope the commencement information below helps you enjoy the event.

All fall 2026 commencement ceremonies are held on campus in the Hansen Theatre, Roland Dille Center for the Arts.
There will be overflow seating in Gaede Theatre where the ceremony will be streaming.
All receptions immediately following the ceremony will be held in the Comstock Memorial Union Sungarden Lounge.

Parking on campus will be free the entire day of commencement. Individuals with a disability parking certificate can park in lot R-6 or G-1. In the event that these lots are full, please plan for the individual with special needs to be dropped off at Roland Dille Center for the Arts.
