Information on moving out of your residence hall at MSUM, your residence hall contract indicates, you should be completely moved and checked out of your room within 24hrs of your last final unless one of the following applies to you.
All residence hall rooms come with the essentials—desk, chair, closet or wardrobe, dresser, twin XL bed (or full bed for upperclass singles in Nelson) and free basic cable tv and wireless internet. From there, you can make your room feel like home! All residence halls include study, community and floor lounges, kitchenettes, vending machines and laundry rooms. So, do your laundry for free on campus, just provide your own detergent and give your family a laundry break when you go home to visit.
Students may qualify for an exemption to the policy if one or more of the exemption conditions exist. Decisions will be made by Director of Housing and Residential Life, or designee, or referred to the Housing Exemption Review Board.
