Institutions, like MSUM, must collect, disclose, and retain government data in compliance with state and federal law. Educational records are governed by the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Advisors will login to the new system with their star id and password. The system will bring up a list of all advisees for that advisor.
