Florence Dalton was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on January 16, 1869. She married Edward J. Masterson, an Internal Revenue Service agent, in Pomeroy, Iowa on May 31, 1893. They had three sons – twins Kenneth and Maurice, who were born on August 8, 1895, and Lawrence. The Masterson family moved to Barnesville, Minnesota in 1905.
Belle Northrup was born October 6, 1866, the daughter of Charles and Charlotte Northrup. She married her first cousin John Northrup. They farmed near Georgetown, Minnesota. Belle died in Fergus Falls, Minnesota July 5, 1950, at the age of 83. The Georgetown History, page 92, has a short history and photos of Belle and Charles Northrup.

Benjamin Franklin Mackall was born in Elkton, Maryland, October 8, 1851. He was the son of Henry Clinton and Ann W. Mackall. B.F. Mackall attended West Nottingham Academy and Georgetown College. The impact of the Civil War made it impossible to continue his education. B.F. Mackall went to Moorhead, Minnesota in 1873.

Born in Hanska, Minnesota on May 8, 1903, Wilferd Anderson moved with his family to the Hitterdal, Minnesota area in 1908. Anderson’s father, H.V. Anderson, managed a grain elevator at Hitterdal until 1915 when he bought a farm in nearby Highland Grove. Wilferd Anderson worked on his father’s farm until 1931, when he married Violet Heigg and rented his own farm in Highland Grove. Subsequently buying the land, Anderson managed this farm until his retirement, raising grain and potatoes, and owning a small dairy herd. The Andersons were also active in Highland Grove community activities. Wilferd died in 1985.
Donald Sinclair was born January 9, 1899 in Stephen, Minnesota. He served in the United States Navy during World War I. After his tour of duty, he attended the University of Minnesota, graduating from there in 1924. Mr. Sinclair was married and had three children.
