School of Teaching & Learning Scholarships
MSUM offers a variety of early childhood, elementary, secondary and K-12 education scholarships for current and incoming students. Scholarships are listed below. Students can apply for university scholarships through the online scholarship application October 1-February 1.
This scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students who are majoring in Elementary Education and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in Elementary Education.

This scholarship is awarded to junior or senior students who are majoring in the field of Education and are high school graduates from Lake Park, Hitterdal, Hawley, Glyndon, or Ulen.

This scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in Early Childhood Education.

This scholarship is awarded to a graduate student who has completed at least 16 credits in the Educational Leadership Program and has a minimum GPA of 3.5.

This scholarship is awarded to full-time students who demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must be sophomores, juniors, or seniors.

External Scholarships
- Cass County Area Retired Teachers Scholarship - Qualifying candidates will have graduated from a Cass County ND High School, majoring in Elementary Education, have a B average or better, and be a college junior or senior in 2022-2023. Four $1000 scholarships will be awarded.
- Minnesota Teacher Candidate Grant - Qualifying candidates can receive up to $7,500 during their student teaching semester!

- T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® MINNESOTA, a project of Child Care Aware of Minnesota, is a scholarship program intended to help early childhood and school-age care professionals increase their levels of education, compensation and commitment to the field. T.E.A.C.H.
