A Business Analytics degree from Minnesota State Moorhead will equip you for one of the fastest growing career fields in the country. This business program addresses the vast shortage of qualified analysts who can make sense of the massive amounts of data collected by organizations. With this degree, you will be a key player in interpreting large data sets, effectively communicating the analysis of the data, and guiding businesses and organizations in making sound, profitable decisions. Offered through the Paseka School of Business, the program emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world problem solving. This program is visa-eligible with STEM certification for international students.

The interdisciplinary curriculum exposes you to a wide variety of disciplines, with foundational courses in business, computer science and mathematics, coupled with requirements in economics and communications. Depending on your area of interest, you’ll choose from electives in health informatics, geosciences or marketing, among others. Shared coursework makes it easy for you to double major in an area of specialized interest without adding significant time to your academic career.
While master’s level business analytics degrees exist in the region, Minnesota State Moorhead offers the only undergraduate degree in business analytics, focusing primarily on the application of big data to high-level decision making.
At Minnesota State Moorhead you will learn on state-of-the-art, industry standard platforms such as Python and R, equipping you to be ready for hire upon graduation.
