Her research has been published in several academic journals, including Issues in Accounting Education, Advances in Public Interest Accounting, Journal of Business and Accounting, and Academy of Strategic Management Journal. Dr. Stone is active in professional organizations, serving as treasurer of the Red River Valley chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. As a professor, Dr. Stone wants to not only teach her students accounting skills, but also foster a desire for learning, a commitment to excellence, respect for teammates, and responsibility for serving others.
