Community & Technical College Transfer Guides

Community & Technical College Transfer Guides are planning tools to help you determine how specific courses at your college may be applied to bachelor’s degrees at MSU Moorhead. A transfer guide is not comprehensive; it lists courses that frequently transfer to MSUM, and courses not included in the guide might still transfer. Please consult with an admissions counselor to have your transcript evaluated.

We also recommend visiting Transferology, a nationwide network designed to show how courses you have taken or plan to take transfer to another college or university for credit.

Transfer students completing the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum at a Minnesota State Colleges and Universities institution or the University of Minnesota will be deemed to have satisfied the LASC at MSUM. Students who transfer to MSUM with a partially completed Minnesota Transfer Curriculum are not required to repeat any goal areas they have already fulfilled, but must complete the remaining requirements of LASC. Grades A, B, C, and D for MnTC courses are accepted in transfer; however, a cumulative MnTC GPA of 2.0 is required.

Resource information for students, transfer specialists and educators is available at Minnesota Transfer.

Articulation Agreements are formal agreements between Minnesota State University Moorhead and other colleges and universities to accept transfer courses for specific programs.
